The Honorable Hope Andrade

  Texas Secretary of State

Appointed by Governor Rick Perry, Esperanza "Hope" Andrade is Texas' 107th Secretary of State. Secretary Andrade, a successful entrepreneur and leader in the San Antonio business community for more than three decades, serves as Texas' chief elections officer, chief international protocol officer and the Governor's chief liaison on border and Mexican affairs.

 
Previously, Andrade served as chair of the Texas Transportation Commission. In recognition of her service to Texas, Secretary Andrade has received a number of accolades including the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce's Lifetime Achievement Award, the Hope for Children Esperanza Award, and the San Antonio Leadership Hall of Fame Award.  Additionally she has been named the Woman of the Year by the Houston Chapter of the Women's Transportation Seminar, Mother of the Year by Avance and Small Business Advocate of the Year by the Small Business Administration.

Fernando Reyes

Fernando C. Reyes

  Fernando Reyes is President and owner of  Reyes Industries Inc. a
  manufacturing business that produces textile and light metal products. The
  company manufactures products for the Department of Defense, the United
  States Postal Service, General Services Administration and Fortune 500
  companies. The company also manufactures and exports products throughout
  the world.

Prior to starting Reyes Industries he was employed by the federal government working for the Department of Defense, the Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Internal Revenue Service.

He graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington, receiving a Bachelors of Business Administration Degree and continuing on to the University of Southern California where he received his Masters Degree in Public Administration.

His other businesses ventures are Reyes Development and, Reyes Properties.  Mr. Reyes was recently named as a Tier One supplier for Toyota in San Antonio.
